what is the

sewcial circle?

The Sewcial Circle is the heart of The Sewcial Club: a monthly gathering for makers, hobbyists, beginners (and everyone in between) who wants a space to create without judgement.

Bring your machine.

Bring your UFOs.

Bring your current hyperfixation...

or just come and see what happens!

This is a space where nobody judges your tension issues, everyone loses their minds over your finished objects and the person next to you will absolutely fawn over your inspo pics.

You don't have to be good! You just have to show up!

Every month we gather for an evening of making, show and tell, and genuinely good company ❤️

Good music, good people,

   zero pressure!

  • Arrive, get set up and grab a snack

  • Show and tell: share what you've been working on, finished or not

  • Open making time: work on whatever you brought or pick up the provided craft

  • Monthly craft preview: a sneak peek at what's coming up at our next Sewcial Nights

who is this for?

The Sewcial Circle is for you if:

You've been crafting alone and want to find your people (offline)

You're a beginner who needs a safe space to try, fail and try again without anyone making it weird

You're an experienced maker who wants community, accountability and someone who actually gets it

You have a pile of unfinished projects and absolutely zero shame about it

You just want somewhere to go once a month that's completely, unapologetically yours

"One class with the Lucan Sewcial Club and I [hemmed my jeans]! My mom always broke needles hemming jeans. I never knew to use a zipper foot! Game changer. Thanks for teaching me! Didn't break one needle!"
